It was so extreme that people from outside the target demographics would be forced to walk out because of the sex scenes or violence. There are a lot of references in Deadpool that will appeal to people that cannot watch the movie in theaters. But they didn't go all the way with that movie either, no major release will go to extremes on purpose with very rare exceptions. They tried to hit more of those demographics and sacrificed parts of other demographics.

For example, Deadpool was made to appeal to more fans of Deadpool, adults, and comic book fans in general. Obviously there are some ammendments to that, some movies are made in an attempt to capture more of a specific audience at the cost of alienateing parts of other audiences. They are not made for fans or kids or adults, they are made to try and get as many people paying to watch it and then paying for things related to it.

Movies are made to be liked by as many paying customers as possible. I feel like you went from the videos point and swung too far in the other direction.
